What to know before you check a contractor's estimate in Japan.
Is the estimate check free?
Yes. The AI price check is completely free, and getting competitive quotes (相見積もり) from other contractors is free too. You only share contact details if you want us to collect competing quotes.
How does the AI decide whether a price is fair?
The AI reads every line item and compares it against typical market rates for that type of work, factoring in your region, materials, and labor. It also draws on data from previously checked estimates, then flags any item priced noticeably above market.
What is aimitsumori (相見積もり)?
Aimitsumori means getting quotes from several contractors for the same scope of work so you can compare. If our AI flags your estimate as overpriced, we can contact local contractors and get you comparable quotes — for free.
What documents can I upload?
A PDF or a phone photo (PNG, JPG, or WEBP) up to 10MB of any Japanese contractor estimate — renovation (リフォーム), exterior painting (外壁塗装), move-out restoration (原状回復), equipment replacement, or demolition.
How long does the check take?
